Do you really believe the so called planet nibiru is going to wipe all of us out in 2012? Im kinda scared but the same was supposed to happen in 2000

among other things, if nibiru was going to be in our vicinity in 2012, it would indeed be a naked-eye object now, extensively studied and photographed. where is it?

It would be hard for Nibiru to wipe us out, since it doesn't even exist.

This is another one of those popular myths which has been piggybacked onto the 2012 nonsense.  It was started by a quack named Zechariah Sitchin.  He pretends he is an expert in translation of ancient texts.  He is not.  He is a pop-media pseudo-scientist.  Originally, he predicted some disaster with a close passing of this planet, due to happen in 2003.  It didn't, of course, so he and others are just pushing the date back to coincide with that whole Mayan poppycock.  Amazingly, there are still web sites from before 2003, which goes to great pains to show how this Nibiru thing was going to happen in that year.  The quacks don't even bother erasing their errors before rushing off to make more predictions!

If there was any kind of planet-like body within 4 years of coming near us, we would be able to see it in binoculars by now.  Astronomers would have discovered it years ago.  Some idiotic doomsdayers even try to say that it is only visible from Antarctica.  This is bunk, because anything visible from Antarctica is visible from the entire southern hemisphere.  They like to add a little NASA/US government conspiracy of silence nonsense to this also.  Well, they have to come up with SOME reason for why it hasn't ever been announced when it would have been detectable by amateur astronomers years ago.

No. That is just superstitious nonsense based on questionable interpretation of ancient Sumerian writings and other archeological information. No astronomy or space science at all was used to "predict" the existance of this planet.

There are two definitions for this planet "Nibiru":

1. The real definition is just another name for Jupiter. Its Jupiter's ancient name. And Jupiter isn't going to block out the sun from the Earth seeing as its orbit is not only behind us, but is also behind Mars, making it even harder and even more impossible for it to come and block Earth's light.

2. The second definition is a rogue brown dwarf which doesn't exist. It is all fake. It would be hard for a fake planet to come an wipe us out.

Nibiru wasn't supposed to crash in 2000.... people were busy working on a doomsday set for 6-6-06 and didn't have time to invent another planet until their '06 doomsday preparation was finished.

Don't be scared at all, because this is a load of bull.

If Nibiru was really a brown dwarf, we would've seen it by now. A planet with a 3600 year orbit would be maybe a couple light weeks away. We have seen planets smaller than brown dwarfs that are light years away, in a whole other solar system. We would've seen, or detected Nibiru by now.

It is also impossible for the sun to hold onto an object with a 3600 year orbit. Pluto's orbit is only a couple hundred year, and the sun can hardly onto that! Pluto has a highly elliptical orbit.

This planet would have to defy all laws of science and physics to simply exist, and defy it even more to come close enough the Earth to block out the sun light.
