The stephenville, Texas UFO sightings?

Wonderer. You don't live in Stephenville, So YOU really have no clue what YOU are talking about.

The fact that the government was already in town BEFORE the sightings state that they were there on their own agenda. And how convienient is it that only 1 minute after the sightings- the jets were already in town- obviously they knew something was going on and they were suppose to be there cause not even if they saw something on radar or were told could they show up that fast.

No one in this town believes it to be aliens except some of the highschool and college burnouts who are saying so for attention.

Like I said, the Army has been transporting large steel and mechanical objects into our town for over a year now. They are building something, but yet no one can account for the new where abouts of these shipments.

Thanks for posting. I tend to agree with you about the government knowing exactly what was seen and about the things that are going on in your area. I'm a little to the west of you, closer to Dyess AFB, and there was a lot of air traffic out here last week, so much that I actually turned on the t.v. to check the news one day to make sure I wasn't missing some important event. I wish I could remember exactly which day that was, but unfortunately I've slept since then........I lived in Bluff Dale a few years ago and there were strange things going on out there even then, so I have no doubt that the people in Stephenville saw something. I just hope we will find out exactly what it was. While all of this is interesting, it's also a little disturbing when you live in this area with so many military and defense establishments in such close proximity.......

This was most likely caused by a superior mirage. Imagine a mile-wide mirror 3000 feet above the ground: what would you see in it? You'd see the dark ground, and the lights of towns, farmhouses, and cars all appearing up in the sky.

On January 8, 2008, the date of the UFO sighting, Stephenville TX experienced a massive cold front in which the dewpoint dropped a huge 30 degrees in 9 hours (!!) This is exactly the kind of conditions that can cause a superior mirage.
