  1. Not really. I think the way a society commonly uses a word dictates what it means in a way. Hate can be construed in a lot of different ways and I guess in some contexts it's very strong, but in others it means next to nothing.

People "throw around" the word so much nowadays that it just doesn't have much strength to it anymore. If you tease a friend and they shoot back an annoyed, "i hate you!", you know they don't really mean it and you're not going to cry about it.

  2. yea but only if

    someone is serious about it

  3. yes. :[

  4. nope...

i hate the country i live in

i hate the town i live in

    i hate my family

    i hate my neighbours

    i hate governments

nope, not nearly strong enough!!! :D

  5. Well depends. If you say you HATE pizza then thats ok. But if you say I HATE you to your mother or any other person than that is pretty harsh! You should not say it unless you really mean it!

  6. Its overused now. It doesn't hold the same meaning it used to.

Even friends throw the word around playfully. Its ***** annoying

  7. yea

  8. yea i really do

and sadly to say, i do throw it around too often!!!!!!

    :(

  9. Yeah and so is the word "Love". But people need to figure out that people can't love or hate each other over a matter of days or weeks. People need to learn that those things take time and a level of maturely.

  10. Only when you say that you hate another person.
