Great acting, nice cinematography but boy, was it dull! Oh, and clichéd too. A real yawn-fest.

It's always thrown in with No Country for Old Men (which I loved) but really doesn't belong in such prestigious company.

It was LONG!!! The acting was good, and really so was everything else but it just dragged on. It and 'No Country for Old Men' should not have been up for best picture, I would have nominated 'Waitress' and 'The Savages' instead.

Great movie. I thought that it was worth the movie ticket, and I got it when it came out to dvd. I didn't know what the movie was about and came out surpised with the ending. Daniel-Day Lewis is brilliant. He so deserved the Ocsar for his role.
