They say that 'the application must be returned in person by 25th of August:25th or 24th is the last day?

I want to apply for a job and theysay that the application should be handed by 25th..so should I do it before 25th or even the 25th?

the 24th you want to look well prepared and like you want the job if you hand it in the last minute they may get the impresssion thats how you will preform as an employee as well

One way to be certain is checking their hours of operation.

Monday-Friday would mean the 25th as today is the 24th and is sunday.

What they mean to say is,,,, I'm not reading anymore applications after the 25th, that's when they are closing the job.  Go ahead and get your application in now.  Good applicants are already being picked out of the pile.

I would take it in on 24th so it is there first thing on 25th!

25th is the last day. If no time deadline is mentioned, you can submit on 25th during their respective opening hours. Unless no choice, try to submit early to avoid last minute complications, eg documents not complete, traffic jam...

The sooner the better, you don't want to give an employer the impression that you are the kind of person who leaved things until the last minute.
