Things are getting out of hand.?

Question

-Russia appears to be violating it's cease-fire because they did NOT pull their soldiers out of Georgia and are in fact still seemingly carrying out military operations

-Ukraine has blocked Russia's fleet from returning to port and Russia has warned Ukraine

-The US is sending Humanitarian aid to Georgia but both Georgia and Russia seemingly expect that a full on military intervention will come soon

-Condoleezza Rice is visiting Georgia

- S. Ossetian serperatist are looting Gori

-Russia told the US to choose between Russia and Georgia... and the US chose Georgia

Time for the question: What is this war coming to?

I'll put it this way. There are only two times the hair stands up on my arms, when I'm getting shot at and when I'm about to get shot at...the hair is standing right up on my arms as I write the response.
