Things to do in Busselton?

I am heading to Busselton for a week with my boyfriend for our one year anniversary, i dont really know the area and i was wondering what some good things to do around the area were. We are staying at Abbey Beach Resort.

Also what are some good pubs, resuraunts, places to see and go?

The Pier and the underwater observatory at the end is pretty good.

The jetty and underwater observatory at the end of it are great.

You can use Busselton as a base and go from there.  Surfing in Yallingup, wineries on practically every corner, caves on Caves Road.  If you get as far as Margaret River, go to the Berry Farm.
