Thinking about going top mexico?

Im thinking about going to mexico on holiday next year around august! anyone have any info on the place like resorts, things to look out for etc! me and my girlfriend are going.

My Self And My Fiance Have Just Come Back From Cancun. We Stayed In The Moon Palace Golf And Spa Resort And It Was By Far The Best Holiday Ever! If You Havent Found A Hotel Yet You Should Look Into That One...Its Fantastic. Just Be Careful At Night Etc And Only Have With You What You Really Need.

I would highly recommend mexico's island Cozumel.  Great resorts are the Iberostar Cozumel and the Cozumel Palace.  Lots of fun in-town, mayan ruins to tour, undeveloped East Side of island with remote restaurants and bars on the beach.  Best of all is the Suba diving and Snorkling - some of the best in the world.  Also, Cozumel is very safe.  I've been all over mexico and this is my favourite place to visit.  It's also just a ferry ride over to Playa del Carmen.

we just got back yesterday from cancun...stayed at oasis cancun. it was just OK....It's an all-inclusive resort...the food was not good.  the only thing that was decent was the drinks. the pool was nice.

My best advice would be wear lots of sunscreen!

DEFINATLEY buy the lockbox in your room.  LOTS of people had things took out of the room by housekeeping,  Take lots of pics! Take the bus rather than taxi's. its like 60 cents in US. go to the flea market, it's an experience. They said Aug. is the hottest month.

everything is pretty cheap. we only spent about 300.00 for a week. buying ourselves and family gifts.

the best mexican besch destinations are cancun or playa del carmen., acapulco, puerto vallarta or los cabos.. in all this places you have the best fun, resorts in all levels. and the besth night life.. check this places on the internet or your travel agency..
