The Indian Agriculture Research Station in New Delhi has been trying to introduce new crops into the area that provide a greater range of crops with better food value.  They also offer the possibility for more income.  New varieties of existing crops are always being improved and introduced to farmers to increase their yields.  It has everything to do with farming and improved  conditions for farmers and the community.
