these are some good info websites for global warming. :]

  2. Did you know that it is a scientific fact that there existed a mini Ice Age from around 1300 to mid 1800s? That before that mini Ice Age there was a warming trend throughout Europe? That scientific studies of core samples from Anartica point out that the Earth's temperature has been fluctuating back and forth for thousands of years? While industrialization may be speeding up the warming process slightly - global warming and cooling are natural cycles of the Earth. Our time would be best spent on determining the effects this natural event is going to have on the population and ways to deal with the inevitable.

  3. Global Warming is the effect from 6 billion humans all s******g each other. All that s*x would make things warmer.

  4. Global warming is but a component, in a group of destructive forces at work such as ;deforestation, desertification, soil and water contamination ,irresponsible or wasteful utilization of bio resources , air pollution,Non sustainable Agriculture, over pumping carbon aquifers

all concepts which are definitely not part of the Natural Processes of the Natural world

    WHICH WE ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR,

The most prolific growth on this planet is part of the day in the mist and most of the time under clouds ,and the least growth is always directly in the sun .

To exchange the one for the other means changing local climates

We are exchanging Nature with Tar , concrete and open spaced mono cultures.

In 300 years half of the planets forests have gone ,and in the last 50 years half of the wet lands ,and rain forests

These Areas absorb heat during the day and release heat at night ,

Cause cloud formation(shade).humidifying the air on the surface as well as releasing excess water at the roots that keep rivers flowing ,which in turn brings more water into the Environment .

As well as contributing to absorbing carbon emissions as do the leaves of the trees together with the oceans .

All in all many factors which directly affect the local Environment .

The loss of the above resulting in rivers drying up ,less rain ,desertification, loss of habitat for many species and so on.

dryer and hotter surface environments which can manifest in different weather patterns such as tornadoes or bush fires

I may be stupid or Naive but somehow i believe that lots of these local environmental changes, can add up to affect global weather, If there are enough of them (and there are)

And then on top of that comes the story of the effects of pollutants released into Nature and especially the Air ,by MAN http://earthissues.multiply.com/photos/a...

There is a lot we can do about being more responsible with what we got ,

In the first world countries many do not care or are more interested in Global Control than Global Warming.

And i am beginning to think that SCIENCE HAS BEEN INVADED WITH POLITICS AND HUMAN EMOTIONS

The truth is being distorted at high levels,

And lies have been weaved in.

Some of the real dangers are being hidden because there are no solutions , Public could panic.and Authorities would loose control .

Besides Corporations have other priorities and changes will cause loss of profits ,this also affects the truths being published

Others facts are exaggerated so that the phenomena can be used to milk the people.

This is further complicated with Arrogance that will not admit that mankind could be guilty, or that Gods could be out of control ,unloving or incompetent

But I do not think we can make a real difference anymore to change the tide.

On a Global scale,Humanity is not co operative enough .

The poor regions have other priorities such as daily survival.

  5. Al Gore's latest presentation at the TED conference in Monterrey is posted here:

He answers all of your questions in the presentation.

  6. Global warming is a natural cycle, we did not start it and we cannot stop it.

    We cannot even affect it.

man-made global warming is lie and a myth.

    -edit-

Noone is an example of why this battle is so important... the hysteria that results from factual contradiction of current emotion is truly amazing it reminds me of the n***s response to criticisms back in '39.

  7. MY thoughts and worries is all of these changes being forced on us by the politicians.  The threat of a carbon tax. If AL Gore would keep quiet everything will be okay.

  8. It is proven that the average temperature has been raising during the last 30 years (in the 70's there was a cooling period). You can see that the eternal ice is less eternal than believed.

But it is proven too that all these  has been happened already before mankind was there to measure it.

But can we really stop or eventually lessen it?

The influence of man on this process is doubtful.

Isn't it possible that the creation of fear concerning the global warming and it's effects is done to create a run for new energy sources since we see that the petrol starts to go down in a not so far future?

You have certainly heard that the growing of corn for biofuels is more polluting than the positive effects of these fuels, beside of the effect that it creates a global famine crisis. That is a dead end street even when some administrations push still for mixed fuels.

In Europe the industry trades carbon emission rights to keep the overall level on CO2 down.

They detax new, less fuel guzzling cars and they add a tax on the prize of a SUV.

You get tax reduction when you buy new cleaner heating systems, isolate your home etc. in general everything  which lessens the energy consumption is favored.

Big industrial polluters are fined, but these pollutions are mostly intoxication of the environment.

    @ laughing-sprite

You're right. Since human pretend that God gave them the right to govern the world, they believe they have also the power to dominate NATURE. We should learn to live in harmony with her.
