Threading the loopers

Question

I cannot get the thread to blow through the upper looper. the thread zings through the lower looper, but I've tried and tried until my patience has run out. I ran a fine beading wire through from both ends and there doesn't seem to be an obstruction in the line. Now what shall I try?
