Three questions about my party?

my b-day is Dec. 30 so I'm combining a birthday party and new years eve party. my three questions:

1. I want it to be a fairly big party. About how many people should I invite?

2. What should be the girl/boy ratio? I am a girl.

3. If I decide for it to be a theme, what's some good theme ideas?

karaoke... that way, there will be singing and dancing into the new year

it depends on how old you are and where the party's at. the older you are the more guys. i'd say 20 people and you could tell friends to bring other friends. For my sweetsixteen im doing a las vagas theme if you have poker chips and playing cards you can put on tables or tape on walls. also if you have martini looking glasses to use when the ball drops.

No bigger than you can afford.  Do not try to overdue it.

Hmmmmm, I suppose you'll have more girls than boys being as you're a girl...just invite people that are actually your friends and everything else will work itself out.

You can do custom:  dress like your favorite star or movie.  Black and White would be cool for New Years.

1.  20-30? id just invite my close friends, and tell them to invite a close friend or two

2.  Whoever your close friends are, and whoever you feel comfortable with.

3.  just a new years theme would be awesome!  theres sooooo much decor for new years parties!  I've had a couple "Black and White" parties that were a TON of fun!! Ask your attendees to wear only black and white semi-formal attire, and serve only black and white food (chocolate dipped strawberries/vanilla yogurt covered peanuts/black licorice/ect. check on the food network website for black and white appetizer ideas) Or I love s*x and the city- i would love to do like a "cosmopolitan theme" tons of glam decor ect.

If you want it to be a big party invite like 30 people.

Maybe even have it an equal ratio so there is a boy/girl for everyone.

I would do a mardi gra or new year fiesta!

well how old are you turning?

1. If you want it to be big, Invite everyone you know! and have them bring friends!!! haha,

2. Try to have the same amount of girls as boys.

(I would invite slightly more boys.. thats just me though:]) lol
