Thunder Storm FREAKY! whats happening?

ok yesterday (july 8) it was a thunder storm i was playing computer i heard a big shock of thunder almost all the lights were on i almost had heart attack , my dad came they were fighting then the thunder just got louder why?

Are you serious....... the weather was getting worse so it gets louder. It has nothing to do with fighting. Geeze get out more often.

There is no relation between fighting and thunder.  The thunder got louder simply because the lightning was getting closer to you.
