Tibet and South Ossetia ?

The people in Tibet and South Ossetia both want to be independent from their country. However, our government believes the South Ossetia rebel is unacceptable, and Tibet ... should be independent from China, that's unfair ! right ???

We also supported the Kosovar's independence not because we care about their political freedom or ethnic oppression, but because Serbia is a Russian ally. Russia is simply repaying the favor in Georgia, a US ally.

We also support the PKK inside of Iran, calling them brave freedom fighters, and calling the same group operating inside of Turkey and Iraq terrorists.

And the sad part is that these oppressed ethnic groups are made pawns in each super power's attempt to control resources. Neither Moscow or Washington really cares about these poor people.

The US government does not care what is fair and what is not fair. Justice costs the same money as a barrel of oil - American style.
