If Tiger Woods hit a 300 yard drive on the moon, how far would it go?

  1. It would go until something got in the way.

    "An object in motion will stay in motion unless acted upon otherwise"  Newton was pretty smart.

    And with no gravity in space, That ball would go forever until it hit a planet or an asteroid.

    This is assuming that Tiger's drive could break the minor gravitational field of the moon and actually enter free space...


  2. He actually went to the moon to shoot that commercial. You know that right? He and a film crew went on the last NASA Space Shuttle mission, when he had a couple of weeks off.

  3. You mean the equivalent of a 300 Yd drive? Then,

    1800 Yds- gravity is 1/6th of that on the earth, if that is your question.

    And just for the record a ton of features weighs the same as a ton of lead!
