Time travel, possible or not?

Ok, i am well informed on this matter, here is my argument.

FIrst of all, we have to consider that time is a constant, we created it...and it is not physically there so "time travel" referes to moving back through human events, not through time. If someone does end up travelling through time (which is most likely impossible) they would get stuck in a loop or die. The reason for this is simple:

Ok, lets say i travel back in time 1 year. I have fun, careful not to mess with history, but then next year i have die, because what would be me would just be travelling back in time, if i dont travel back again and die then history itself would fall apart because my future self is travelling back, and i would cease to exist. its an endless cycle.( get it)?

(if nobody gets it, post and ill write in more details, present your arguments)

  1. No, if you r alive

    Yes, if you r dead

  2. Doubtful.  There are all sorts of paradoxes that would have to be dealt with.  (Have you ever heard the song "He's his own grampaw"?)

  3. to the future yes... to the past no.... let me explain... if you were to get on a space craft of some sort and travel to pluto and back it would take lightyears, the earth would have aged a lot faster than you had.. when you return it would be like being in the future

  4. No, there is no such thing as time, time is man made why do you think people in the bible days lived to be 900 years old! They measured time differently then we do. Men made up the seconds and the minutes that we say pass us by in a day. there is no such thing as time "that which has been lost can never be obtained again."
