Timing of s*x when TTC

It may be a little silly, but I wanted to keep some hope if there is any. My husband and I have been ttc #1 for 4 months now with no luck. This last month I used a digital OPK which gave me a positive surge reading and we BD every other day for a week before the surge as well as the day the test read positive and the day after the test read positive. I even felt an ovulation pain the day after the surge was detected. Is there something wrong with us or is it possible to do everything seemingly right with still no result. Should I be concerned that we will need help TTC. Any answers would be appreciated!

  1. I think when you try to hard it wont happen. We were not trying and didn't even think we could have children, but we went on vacation in Maryland with a cabin in the woods for 3 days with a hot tub and a bottle of captain morgan. Now we have our beautiful baby boy, so sometimes I think trying to hard and focusing on it so hard is the problem. I think when it is time its time. Kinda like that saying " a watched pot never boils" that is just how I see it at least. Everyone I know that has gotten pregnant was not trying, nor even thinking of having a baby. Good Luck with everything! I believe it will happen for ya!

  2. It can take a healthy couple with perfect timing up to a year to conceive and each month you havea 20 percent chance.

    Good luck!
