I have to Run A mile in 8 days!

  1. Run a mile or two each day before then, except for the day right before you have to run it. When it's time for you run the official mile, stay loose that day by stretching and jogging. Right before you run do a few 15-30 yard sprints. And if you can make sure you sprint the last 150 or so meters.


  2. don't try too hard at the beginning so just keep a nice pace then go hardest near the end.

  3. Steady pace and drink water. Workout a little!

  4. if u had an 8 min mile that means u ran a 2 min 400 each time. depending on ur age and gender i would say u could knock off 10-15 sec each time on ur 400(400 is once around the track). Try to keep a steady pace. You dont want to run ur first lap in a min and ur next one at 3 and so on. breathing is key

  5. Run maybe a mile or so the days before you have to run a mile except the day before. get plenty of sleep and drink plenty of water. eat lots of carbs. watch what you eat, dont eat lots of sweets. start out with a steady pace and at the last 200 m-100 m, sprint ahead of everybody.
