Tips for active baby at scan??

Question

Looking for any tips on making sure my baby is active at my gender scan tomorrow (with a previous pregnancy my son was sleeping with his legs crossed so couldnt tell!), I've heard drinking cold, sugary juice sometimes works- how long before the scan should i drink it? Its a private clinic & has cost quite a lot of money so dont want to be disappointed! Thanks for help xx

When I go I usually take something sweet with me like juice or jelly beans. eat them right before I go into the room!! It has worked so far... If really want to make sure the baby is up drink a coke before you in.

the thing is making it cold. When i go for my NST test which i go early in the morn and the baby is sleeping they make me drink cold water. Most of the time I take with me a cold cold diet soda. But of works also, as long as it is cold try drinking about 30 min and up to the time of the test. Maybe freeze oj the night before then take it out before you go and start drinking it once you get there. gl....

Drink a Coke or something with caffeine right before you go.

OJ is the best ive heard i think i would drink it no sooner then 30 mins before, maybe 15 before?

Drinking a soda or gatorade or something sugary worked for me. It was about a half hour before the scan.

i went with my friend for the 3d scan and they told her to eat a mars bar and have a fizzy drink about 20-30 mins b4, and it worked, hope this helps

I was drinking cold water while I was in waiting room and also had some sierra mist an hour or so before. But what really did it was they use the warm liquid the second she put the warm liquid on my belly my baby was moving like crazy.

Drink a glass of Orange Juice before your appt.  It worked for me with both pregnancies.  Good luck!
