Tips for being pretty and confident?

I'm really insecure with my looks and i lack SO much confidence!

I get nervy and sweaty in social situations and i was wondering what can i do to overcome this?

It's partly to do with me being bullied because of my weight(i'm underweight due to high metabolism, even though i eat like a pig)....and i feel terribly looked down upon and i don't feel pretty AT ALL :( I feel ungirly....

I see other people who are skiinier than me BUT YET PRETTY AND CONFIDENT AND GLOWING and i think to myself, why am i so ugly and unlucky? It's as if these girls somehow 'pull being skinny off'

I'm just so gaunt, while they're so glowing and stunning and confident.

I've tried gaining weight but it doesn't work......

I'm fed up of not being able to make friends easily....

help?

  1. If you act confident, people tend to like being around you more. If you keep acting confident you will feel it too eventually, honestly.


  2. u r sad about never getting fat!!!???i wish i was like that! well just be happy with how u look, and make ur hair and stuff how u like it, somthing that will make u like how u look, and also dont listen to other people, they are proboaly just jelouse, and if they call u too skinny, u can say "well maybe ur just too fat :P"

  4. well to me the key to being confident is liking what you see in youself i have a friend that is realy skinny and shes so pretty sometimes she lacks cofidence too

  5. depends on your age but just believe in yourself and in the person the you are. Be yourself and accept that as who you are and hope others do as well.

    I'd love to be that skinny.

    But you could try protein shakes and eat right before you go to bed if you want to gain weight.

    Though you shouldnt care what people think of you. Just ignore them. Some are jealous and some are rude. Its life. If you feel pretty then thats all that matters. You could try some makeup. It enhances natural beauty.

  8. well, i'm not sure but im sure youre beautiful. so, try posting a picture of yourself. it feels good to be told your pretty. also, has any boy ever been totally obsessed with you? like even in 5th grade. think of all the people who have told you your pretty. it makes you feel better. also, i wish i was really skinny!  

  9. It would be easier if I had a picture of you.  Try to send me one. You need to focus  Try to focus on the important things in life. School work, family etc.. The rest will fall into place. I have thyroid disease and was really skiiny for a long time.  Everyone was worried and also made fun sometimes.  I just blew it off and kept on feeling good about myself.  Try to change a few things.  One is eat a ice cream shake for dinner everynight.  That worked for me.  If it works don't keep doing it. just do it until you ad a little meat to your body.  Then the way the girls get away with looking skinny id they get pants and shirtsd that are fitted to their figure. Tighter!  Also maybe try playng with makeup a little.  Bare minerals has a starter kit that comes with a dvd on how to.  It really makes your slin look great and soft.  Plus get some Rose radience by the same brand to add some shine and glow to you.  Maybe go to Sephora or ulta to get a make over.  It would be fun.  Try to stick with brand named clothes.  Guess, gap, 579, wet seal. They all have skinny jean.  Will look great. ps. if you want to send a pic. go for it.

  10. My friend has the same issue. Cant gain weight. We must look a pair because she's underweight and I'm overweight. I've found that LOOKING happy and adding some lipgloss and mascara is best. If you dont FEEl confident, FAKE it. You'll start to believe it.
