To Kill a Mockingbird - Atticus...?

Question

I have a few questions regarding the awesome book, To Kill a Mockingbird. Do you think that Atticus changed throughout the story? Why or why not? Present quotes to support your answer.

I have to write an essay about it.. You can just give me some hints or "start up" phrases to get my ideas going because I neccesarily didn't think that Atticus changed throughout the novel.
