Depends what you like. If not well~travelled in your own country then that' the obvious place to start and you can get accustomed to being in unfamiliar places without any communication problems! read some Bill Bryson books on travel; they're hilarious, especially 'Notes from a Small Island' Bon voyage, wherever you end up!
