Tofu or chicken??

In a thai strifry is it healthier and better for weight loss diet to have tofu or chicken???

  1. Tofu is much better, besides you don't have the extra animal fat


  2. tofu. anyday. chicken however skinless and oil-less and whatever else you do to it is still not healthy. it has protein yes(which is filling) .. but tofu and soy meats have more protein and it comes without the chemical steroids they fatten the chickens up on.

    don't listen to anyone who says chicken is good for weightloss.

    the vegetarian options are always better for weight loss.

Tofu is a soy extract which is very healthy ofcourse but lean chicken cooked in no oil will too be good I can share something simple with u marinate chicken in grounded ginger, garlic some youghurt, salt crushed black pepper.Mix well add the chicken cut in medium size pieces.keep for some time can add a wee bit of vinegar as well take a non stick pan put all this in it cover it cook on slow fire keep stiring till done put no oil as some chickens leave oil of there own.I hope u will like it

  4. I use to be vegan and ate alot of soy. Too much of one thing isnt that good for you. Why not Tofu/Tempeh sometimes and lean organic chicken breast a few days a week. They both contain all your amino acids and soy has alot of health benefits.

    Iean meats can help you lost weight. Just make sure your portion is not too big.

  5. chicken is almost 30% fat, not as good for you as most people think.  however, both are tasteless, there are much better things to have on a stirfry.

    for example, throw some gren peppers in there, they're great for adding flavour.

    and for the main meat "replacement" Quorn do some great low fat "chicken style pieces" that actually taste quiete nice.

  7. Tofu, you are a girl, lots of natural girly stuff in tofu.  Chicken if it is skin free and cooked without lots of oil etc/butter.  Do a little bit of both with lots of vegetables and salad and you can't go wrong.
