why when i flush my toilet do the pipes in the basement vibrate and make a really loud sound

it is called water hammering, if it just started happening it is probably just a loose support on your water line leading to your toilet. have someone go into the basement when you flush the toilet and see exactly what pipe is vibrating.  check for broken and loose supports and tighten or replace them.  if you don't have acces to the pipes you 'll need hammer arrestors installed on your pipes.  or just live with the noise your pipes won't break or anything it's just annoying.

It's very likely the toilet fill valve.  Not too hard to replace - use a Fluidmaster 400A.  May as well replace the flapper while you're at it.

you could have air pockets inside your pipes, not your drain pipes, the supply, so when you flush, the water pressure is causing it to vibrate, you can fix this by bleeding your pipes,

those are your drainage pipes. buy straps from the local hardware store and secure them and they will stop ratleing
