  1. Prioritize!

Do whatever you can, and you have the whole weekend, you should be ok. If not get your mom or dad to write a note saying that It would be greatly appreciated if you could have a day to catch up on the work as you were sick over the weekend. They can't say no lol!

    GOOD LUCK :)

  2. Relax.......keep it up,maybe you can be a business woman or anything you wanna be just relax..deep breath then finish it.........

  3. When I was in 6th grade I also had a lot of homework because I was in the International Baccalaureate but I think that you still have more homework that I did. Maybe talk to your teachers about it. I am in high school now and I have a lot of homework. If your teachers won't do anything about it then talk to your parents.

  4. wait until u get to high school. one of things i learned was to start with the hardest. its the longest work but if u get that done, ull go pretty smooth on the rest of ur homework assignments. u will get used to the amount of homework u have. dont worry bout how much it is. worry bout if u can get them done or not. when u have freetime in class, i recommond u finish whatever homework u have then u can hang w ur friends. 6th grade isnt very hard once u get to it. also divide ur homework depends on the timings. do all the ones thats due the next day and do the rest til u r too tired.

  5. yeah this is a lot!

If I were you I would do the hard assignments first to get them out of the way and then do the easy ones....

I know that this is a lot...but don't stress...just do one subject at a time..and you will be able to get through it..

    Good Luck!

  6. that is a lot for 6th grade. i would recomend doing it and see if after a week or two it gets any lighter and if not switch into an easyer class for your level

  7. yes it is too much

    but dont stress,

just break it down subject by subject and you will be fine.

you might not get it done as quickly, but you will get it done

    good luck!

    wish for the bestt

  8. What else are you going to do, do your homework. Ha! Wait until you get into the 8th grade, you'll have way more! The teachers call it "preparation for high school"

  9. homework gets harder once you enter 6th grade, and will get harder every year. this is something you really need to just accept. in high school you will have much more work. and in college still more. your teachers are starting the process now of helping you not only learn about your subjects, but learn how to manage your time. understand that it is absolutely in your best interest that they start increasing your workload now. that way when you get to high school you'll have already learned good study skills and time management. then you can concentrate on your studies and learning. when you get to college your professors are not going to approach you if they see you are having trouble in a class. you are completely responsible for how well you do. if you're having trouble in college, it will be up to you to find a tutor or a study group. your teachers know this, and that is why they are starting now to prepare you for the future. i know it seems like a lot, especially when there are so many other things you'd rather be doing. but learn to manage your time; do the quick and easy stuff first to get it out of the way. then devote more time to things that take longer. you'll find once you've learned how to best manage your time that it doesn't take all that long after all. spending time dwelling on how much work you have or posting on the computer is only time wasted in the end. in that time you could have had one of your assignments done, and you'd be that much closer to being done with it.

  10. do it all teachers dont care they think others dont give alot of hw so they give alot, you should just do it all to pass, there is nothing else you can do of fail if you want.

  11. sounds like a lot for 6th grade, but there's more people than you think that have to do that too. its life, but if you have a big problem then talk to your teacher or parents or something

  12. oh wow !! I just graduated 8th grade and that was wayyyy more that I ever had!! I'd tell your mom to e-mail your teachers DEFINATLY the teachers need to be more considerate

  13. That's a whole lot for  a 6th grader. I'd have my parent contact some teachers.  Convince your classmates to have their parents talk to the teachers as well.  You shouldn't be doing this much work at least until high school.

  14. No, it is not too much. You just have to manage your time the best way you can.  I would tell you to get home and study as soon as you eat a snack when you get home. Also, do some homework on the bus or car on the way home.

It gets even more difficult as you advance to the next grade, so you just have to do what you can but do not over work yourself.

  15. This is to much. Talk to your teacher.

  16. take honors classes

  17. as a math teachermyself of several yeasr experience- i would say are u just given busy work.  are u allowed to stop once u get the concept?

i never give my kids more that 20 questions a night.

are u behind in yr skills? if so then u need 1 more hr of practice.

who long do u have to study for each test?

i think u need to talk to soneone about how to use yr planner as u wont have all of this  happen ont he sme day. study a bit read a bit every day. have a list  oon yr table and mark off what u do as u go in manageable pieces. .if the test is 5 days away from now divide yr assignment by 4 and do a bit each time u go to yr homework table.

  18. try getting some of it done at school....

  19. do the ones that have to be in sooner than the rest.

and i'd get off Yahoo Answers and start doing it!

    Good Luck! :)

  20. d**n, that's alot for a day, but I'm on holiday now and i got 14 pages of physics to rewrite and answer, 12 pages of IT work, 2 1000 word essays for english, a french presentation to work on during the holidays, a big project on a given topic, involving various types of research, methodology, abstract, conclusion, introduction, case study etc. and this is all to be done in 4 weeks, I'm on holiday, meaning i have time to rest and all, but I'm in 10th grade soo that's prolly y. but don't stress hey, its life really. take it one at a time, and if it continues, tell your mum to do sumin bout it!

  21. pay attention in class and it will really cut down on studying and test prep.  as for the homework, try to do it during school hours. if its still too much, petition to get all your teachers fired..

  22. WOW WAY WAY TOO MUCH HOMEWORK I JUST FINISHED 6TH GRADE AND I THOUGHT I HAD TO MUCH WITH SPELLING AND SOCIAL STUDIES AND MATH I FEEL YOU THAT SUCKS HOW MUCH HOMEWORK YOU  HAVE THAT IS WAY TOO MUCH FOR YOU YOU SHOULD MAKE A COMPLAINT TO YOUR SCHOOL ABOUT HOMEWORK AND HAVE A WHOLE BUNCH OF KIDS SIGN A PAPER SAYING TOO MUCH HOMEWORK!!!  GOOD LUCK
