my cat hasn't been eating enough so i force fed him nutrical, but now i think i gave him too much at once. he used to be a heavy cat now he's thin because of not eating enough. i gave him like 2 teaspoons all at once. anybody know what can happen to him if he gets too much? i don't have access to a phone or car so i can't take him to the emergency vet as it is after normal business hours. Help!

  1. Your cat may be diabetic. The best thing for you to do is to get him/her to a vet ASAP.

  2. It's not so much the nutrical that would worry me but rather why your cat is losing weight.  He needs to see a vet for a complete exam, and possibly diagnostics like blood work, to determine what is wrong with him.  You can't just feed nutrical and hope that he puts on weight, you have to treat the source of the problem.

I don't think the 2 teaspoons of nutrical would do anything too harmful, but you can always call the emergency vet to find out what they suggest.  If there is no emergency vet in your immediate area you can call one in a surrounding community.
