Topless deck???

We are going on a Carnival cruise at the end of the month, and my boyfriend says there is a topless deck.... Is he just joking?

Yes it is true. It is the upper most deck(really a partial deck). Typically the sights are dissapointing

No usually at one end of the ship their is a very small deck but its a topless deck and they have signs about people with small children should be aware of this as their might be inappropriate things but other then that nice way to not get tan lines.

We took our entire family (20-people) on the Carnival Ecstasy last year.

Yes, there is a topless sunbathing deck.  

But your boyfriend will be disappointed.  They only "topless" people up there the entire cruise were the old, bald guys that wear white socks with black sandals.

The very top deck by the smoke stack is topless.  Very few people go up there, but it is available.  No kids allowed.
