Tornados and pc's?

my ex lives in NC.....in america....n was hit by tornados....his laptop should work still even though they got no phones or electricity?

yes for the moment (untill his battery dies). BUT HE WILL HAVE NO INTERNET ACCESS.

It depends. If it has a full battery it will work. But if it needs to be charged or needs to be connected to the internet, there might be no internet connection available.

As long as the battery holds up, his laptop will work fine. But if the phone lines are down, he won't be able to get on the internet.

It might. Depends on if it has it's own battery power, and how it connects to the outside. Both the laptop and the source system the laptop is trying to connect with must be operational. If just the laptop has power, than only internal work could be performed using the laptop.
