Torrent Speed....so slow!?

Question

I got a game to dl and i hav paid it. But my torrent spd is lik 1kb/sec.

How do we mak it faster?

oh btw, did torrent 'eat' our montly ISP -mine is bigpond (12 GB/ Month)

If you have paid for the game why do you have to download it via torrent, uTorrent is not the fastest or best its probably one of the fastest if you are a beginner but the best program is Azureus now known as Vuze. torrent speed depends mainly on how many seed there are to download from these days you should encrypt the connection so your isp doesn't know what you are doing and cant slow it down because u are using torrents,

I would turn encryption on and change the ports you are using pick the ports between 30000 and 40000, then have a look at speedtest.net run the test this will tell you what speed you could achieve,  

Noob's just because a website says we recommend uTorrent because its the best or fastest doesn't mean its true what it means is either that site created the program or they get paid for it, uTorrent is ok for noobs but otherwise get azureus / vuze and learn how to set it up properly there are loads of guides on the net

It's your internet, you can't really change it that much. I suggest using uTorrent beause its faster than any other torrent program
