  1. he took his time with shawn, which i think he respected shawn's ground and pound. the other two were one sided jokes.

  2. Sherk was the only one that tested him and it was not a test of skill but rather a test of how far BJ's cardio had really improved. BJ is known to gas by the end of round 2 but BJ was still fresh by the end of round 3.

  3. Well he really outworked all 3 of the guys you mentioned. Joe probably gave him the best fight.

But his toughest fight is definetly GSP .... Georges is at the top of his game and he would beat BJ again.Although this time BJ would probebly give him a better fight than the first time.

  4. The best and most popular match up for BJ penn would be to fight friend and foe GSP.  At this point in both of their carreers, at their prime, this would be an incredible spectacle.  It would probably be one of the top 3 fights ever in the UFC to this point.

    Later

  5. might have to go to japan and fight the japanese ninja

    aoki

  6. I believe BJ's toughest of those three was Sean Sherk.  Although Sean is clearly strong, his strikes were surprisingly quick.  Even with Sean's quickness, BJ found that opening that was reminiscent of the Caol Uno fight to make his Light weight championship title undisputed.   I do agree that Georges St. Pierre will be his toughest fight yet for the sheer fact that GSP is up there with BJ at the welterweight level.
