Manchester City defender, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Bursaspor-c38700 showing strong signs of interest in landing the Ivorian defender.
Based on numerous rumours, it is believed that Toure is no longer required at City and for this reason, they are more than willing to let the player leave. At the moment, the Turkish club are the only team which seem to be remotely interested in landing
the defender’s services.
Ertugrul Saglam, who is the coach of the Turkish side is reported to have said: "We've been discussing it for two days. We are talking about the biggest Anatolian football transfer in history"
"The player's quality is obvious. We're waiting for good news today. It's not over until he's signed."
Toure initially made his move to City from http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Arsenal-c38429 in 2009. The defender claimed that he wanted to achieve bigger and better things in the future and hence he opted to move to the Manchester based club.
The thirty one year had a number of problems at the club, with the biggest being his usage of dietary pills. The defender was banned for using the pills, since they contained a banned substance in them.
However, the City officials believed the player and his claims that he didn’t know what was in the pills and hence they didn’t part ways with him.
Nonetheless, with Toure now being well aware of the fact that he isn’t going to get a spot in the starting eleven, unless something dramatic happens to the first choice defenders, he is looking to move out of the club.
Toure’s contract with City is set to run out in 2013, which could help urge City to make the sale to the Turkish side.
At the moment, City and the player haven’t gone on to talk about the possibility of the move taking place, but given the interest shown by Bursaspor, talks are more than likely going to take place in the near future.
It is now going to be a wait for a couple of days, before it is revealed as to where the player’s future is going to take him.
