  1. Toyota or Honda...just about any make and model...they have great resale value...that means people actually want them even when they get older! Their engines stand the test of time.

  2. toyota 100% better than kia or any asian car

  3. If you like KIA, better buy a bullock-cart with steering fitted in front.

  4. Mimi, as everyone has pointed out, Toyota is way better. Yes they may actually cost more. But if you want quality, then that's what you have to do. Most Korean makers have been struggling with resale, quality control, & reliability issues for a long time. The Toyota Yaris is a good car for commuting to/from work & school. The slightly bigger Corolla is good for the same & short trips. The Camry would be the preferred car for longer trips. All three are smooth, get really decent mpg's & because they are reliable, their maintenance is quite minimal. You just need to take care of it & follow the preventive maintenance schedule. Both the Corolla & Camry have been known to last well over 200K miles before they even have a single major engine problem. Get one new, pay it off, & drive it into the ground. G'luck sister!

  5. Really?.....Toyota...that is like asking, what is better chocolate or horseshit?

  6. The reason kia has a 7 year warranty is because that's the only way they can sell any vehicles.

Get yourself a new camry or corrolla.

  7. I'v owned one KIA, and never again, they have problems with the electronic ignition system, and I understand it is quit common.

  8. Kia has a 7 year unlimited mileage warranty, so they must believe they are building a very reliable, well made car.

Toyota is very reliable and well made.

I think the Kia Ceed is better looking than the Toyota Aygo, and a bit bigger too.

  9. Toyota has a reputation for quality that goes back decades. They are more expensive initially, but are cheaper over the lifetime of the car based on service, unexpected repairs, and resale value.

Kia is owned by Hyundai which has a history of poor but somewhat improving quality. Kia will be cheaper initially but will cost more over the life of the car due to service, unexpected repairs, and much lower resale value. The 7 year warranty is good, but they are only offering it because they wouldn't be able to sell the car without it. This means that your car may be in the shop when it is not convenient for you. If time is money, you should consider that in your equation.

Scion is the low budget brand that is owned by Toyota. I don't know if they have been around long enough to judge whether their quaility is living up to their Toyota parents.
