This is a good trade. The only problem with it is that you will have to drop someone or you will go over roster limit.

I realize you want/need speed on your squad, but don't trade away Utley.  The Phillies will be counting on him, Howard, Rollins, and Burrell to lead the way the rest of the season.  They should be in for quite a fight in the NL East especially with NY doing fairly well right now.  To tell you the truth I think you can get quite more Utley than what is being offered to you.  See if Jerry Hairston Jr. is avaiable off the wire for SS speed help.  The guy has been pretty good since he came back from the DL.  Good luck!

Never ever give away a second baseman like Utley. Chase has a sweet swing. Drives the ball all over the outfield with great power for an infielder. Works hard at his game, especially on defense. Cabrera is not great at hanging in for bases on balls. Not a canon arm at short, but he makes do. Despite a clutch RBI bat, Cabrera doesn't have a lot of power. Phillips, while his defensive skills are good, they're still developing. Needs to improve his consistency, particularly in the second half. Utley knows how to play the game right, he will dive for the ball, runover catchers, and hit to win. Don't do this deal.
