Trade Rafael Furcal for Edison Volquez?

Will this trade work or not? I offered a trade to another person in my league who has a desperate need a shortstop. Currently they have Johhny Peralta at shortstop.

He offered that trade. It wasn't offered to him.

No way that guy should accept it. Peralta does suck, but Volquez is an absolute fantasy stud. Volquez shouldn't be traded off unless a SS named Rollins, Rameriz or Reyes is involved somehow.

If he needs stolen bases, there are better ways to get them (see Michael Bourn, Juan Pierre, Joey Gathright, Carlos Gomez, etc.) Ellsbury, Ichiro, Crawford and company will cost too much, but the before mentioned guys can really provide some speed without giving up too much.

I'd do this deal.  You're getting Volquez, who's been on lock-down all year, and they're getting depth at SS with Furcal.

Do it quickly.

Do it Volquez is hot right now I don't see him cooling off just yet

Besides you can pick up Troy Tulowitzki if you make this trade

If they are smart, they will reject the trade. Volquez is pitching like a Cy Young winning pitcher and Furcal is just a top 6 SS. They will be giving up way too much value if they make this trade.

edison volquez at the moment is the best pitcher in fantasy baseball, and furcal might not be back until after the allstar break, if it were me id accept
