  1. Without seeing each teams rosters nobody can decide for sure if either trade makes any sense. As for the 1st trade, if the guy dealing Putz has tremendous save depth and is desparate for a middle infielder then while foolish at least there is a reason behind it. Even with that it isnt a good deal for the guy shipping out Putz, Escobar is an average fantasy option and Putz can be lights out with dominating numbers.Huge advantage to the guy getting Putz.

The second deal is a lot easier. The second guy getting the Utley package gets by far the better of this deal. Utley is flat out heads above any fantasy 2nd baseman and elite at any position (I would rank him easily top 10, possibly top 5), Gongalez has been ridiculous this year and has outperformed Fielder fantasywise all year. Ramirez is easily better than Youkilis, Furcal and Renteria this year is basically a wash. The pitching is a very even swap, one guy gets a pen stud, the other gets a qaulity starter. The only "win" for guy #1 is Dunn over Matsui. Guy #2 smokes the other in this deal...not even close.

  2. First one is pretty fair. lol basically the same as last time? A needs the Closer, B needs the SS? I would take Escobar out of the two. Putz is struggling and may lose some saves to Brandon Morrow.

    Part II- Team B

Except for Marcum and Fielder, I think Team B wins every part.
