does moving violation(ticket) on bicycle affect driving record for car, for purposes of insurance for car does it show up as moving violation

In my state, infractions (car or otherwise) are not reported to the state, so an insurance company will not have access to the information.

However, most moving violations are in fact misdemeanors and convictions for those are reported to the state.
