Training programs?

Are there any local programs that teach discipline and teach you about team work and so forth, with intense workouts? Just like the Army, but like junior programs for teens like me? I feel like i want a great workout and be taught discipline for my own benefits and learn something out of it...

Usually where the thugs and bad people are sent to, but i'm not one of them...

Know what i'm saying? Oh and i'm not looking for a martial arts type of place because i already practice Wing Chun... xD

  1. Might look into the Devil Pups program at Camp Pendleton. Teaches things like discipline, citizenship, team work, fitness, etc. It's sponsored by the USMC but is not a USMC program. It's run by a NPO created by former marines turned businessmen.

Ages 14 - 17. Open to residents of California, Arizona, and Nevada only. Positions limited to 660 bodies.

  2. Look in your local yellow pages.

  3. It depends on where you live. In SoCal i know an excellent palce that offers a program called "boot camp" Sounds army like to me. Also, there is an Israeli military art called Krav Maga. If you can find a place that teaches that, try it out.

Try this place its in La Mirada. Im not sure how close that is to OC although. AND its not really for "thugs' its more of a workout.
