How do you use the London trains (not the underground) i find the time table confusing? also is there a ticket which i can use for the day or week to go on whatever train?

  1. Enter your travel details in this website:

    or into this one:

    Check which station the train leaves from, in both cases, if you enter a different station in London it will give you travel info to the right station.


  2. Season tickets are valid for periods for one week to one year if you are travelling between the same two stations. Daily and period travelcards are valid within the London travelcard zones

  3. All trains in and out of London start from one of the terminals e.g. Waterloo, Euston, etc.

    I suggest you phone National Rail Enquiries (08457 484950, web site address below) and ask which terminus your train starts from, then get a timetable for that route.

    You can get day and weekly tickets to cover the various zones.
