Transfering Video File To Another

Im trying to upload a windows movie maker video to youtube, but it says i need to change the file to a .wmv How do i do this? Please use detailed instructions! Im not too computer-saavy lol thnx!

right, open movie maker, click ''import video''. select the file(the files of type should be video files). after its imported, press Ctrl+A to select all the clips, right-click and choose combine. drag that now singular file to storyboard(below). click ''finish movie'' to the left and select ''save to my computer''. just choose where you want it saved from the browse button,then click next until it starts processing. should now be saved in .wmv format.
