Transit visa through Italy?

If I am going from Beirut, Lebanon to the U.S. through ROME FIUMICINO, ITALY. Do I need a transit visa? Where I can more info about it?

  1. Do you plan to leave the airport ? If you do then yes.

    If you stay at the airport and remain "Airside" then No.

    (select both your citizenship and Country where you're from and "airport transit")
