Transplanting HDD into new machine

Question

Hi there. i got a new pc recently. its an AMD cpu and all the hardware is completely different to my last setup where the hard drive came from. As expected windows didn't cope with the change and i was presented with a blue screen. Is there a way to work around this? Some way that windows can scan for the new hardware and go from there? thanks in advance
