Travel money for tenerife?

im going on hols to tenerife in los cristianos staying at 4 star paradise park half board, ive heard tenerife is expensive not sure how much money i should take for 1 week? i like to eat out 2 break away from the hotel every other day and like 2 have a drink everyday. any suggestions for anyone whos been to tenerife. thanks

£200-£250 per person should cover it, given that most of your meals are covered off by the hotel -- if you find yourself over-spending then you can always eat in a bit more towards the end of the week!

There are some brilliant things to do in Tenerife (see the link below) as well as drinking so plan a couple of excursions - Tenerife is a small island so you never have to travel very far.  There's a brilliant zoo/bird park (Loro Parque), Aquaparks and much more.

There's a big round sports bar at the top of Los Cristianos that has a massive outside seating area and great tunes all day - settle in there and order a 'Fat Frog' - a local cocktail!  That'll set you up for the day (it comes in a massive jug).  If you can't find it, ask someone where the 'day and night' is - it's practically next door.

If you want to treat yourself to a good meal one night out of the hotel, head to 'The Ivy' restaurant in Los Cristianos -- it's a lovely English restaurant with English owners and an English chef serving the best food the island has to offer - and a wicked Sangria!

Enjoy your time in Tenerife - you'll want to go back I'm sure!

I'm fairly sure the 'Fat Frog' cocktail originated in Ireland. It's one bottle of  Smirnoff® Ice, one bottle of Bacardi Breezer® Orange, and one bottle of WKD® Original Vodka Blue.

I relation to the amount of money to bring, I'd say the previous suggestions are fairly right.
