  1. If you are FLYING, you must use your passport...same for everyone.  If you are travelling by LAND, your green card and a  gov't issued photo I.D.

  2. Non-U.S. citizens who have previously been admitted to the United States for permanent residence must carry their valid passport as well as Permanent Resident Card, commonly known as a Green Card "by land, sea or air"

PS: "US CITIZENS do not need a passport when travel by land"

  3. It depends what country you're from.  Contact your country's embassy in Ottawa to find out.

  4. If you are not a US Citizen, you will need your passport.  If you have a green card, re-entering the US will not be an issue, but you WILL need your passport.

If you are traveling by air, you need a passport even if you are a U.S. Citizen!

  5. Just bring the green card.

  6. They are requesting people traveling from the states into New Brunswick to have a passport now. It would be a good idea to get one. Even as a Canadian traveling to Maine, you get through faster and easier with one. Otherwise, it's a big hassle.
