Traveling short distance?

I am looking at taking a about 3 hour car ride by bus to save on gas. I live near St. louis and want to travel about 3 hours south to Sikeston. My only problem is I can't find a bus route to take. Greyhound is about $100 which how much I figured it would take in gas. Does any one have any suggestions about bus lines or other inexpensive methods?

  1. You basically answered your own question.  If a bus costs $100, then you really should drive.  That tank of gas you're going to save isn't worth dealing with the weirdos on the average bus, nor is it going to save the planet, if that's what you're getting at.

  2. 3 hour ( 140miles) takes $25 gas if you drive.

Call local transit agencies ask possible route.

Post in www.craigslist.org for share ride, and split gas price, be careful if you are single female.
