Trini Christmas in de USA!!! 2008?

Aye trini's allyuh does still keep de tradition alive with black cake , punch-ah-creme, ham and chow-chow, pastel and sorrel?? Doh lie eh!! leh meh hear yuh!!. I going and start soaking meh fruits early so it me cake go be nice and strong.

but regan you asking answers!!! that is what does make trini christmas soo sweet.

is everything - black cake, sponge cake, ponche de creme, alco - you know we clean out angostura and carib, ginger beer (from real ginger), sorrel that we clean and leave outside to dry, ham, chow-chow,  pastelle - chicken, vegetarian, beef. den is turkey, fresh bread, that finish bake 5 am christmas morning, and dont forget the ton load of snacks and sweets.  of course you know we broken by then cause all this was after we buy new curtains, new appliances, new furniture, paint over the entire house and get GIFTS for everybody.

Boy them traditions going strong strong strong.

Listen, Listen to meh. I do meh puch-ah-creme with Scunter on the speakers...The sorrel ah does do from de pack, and is turkey, and hot bread Christmas morning.

Nothing better than being in Trini but I does do meh t'ing...

Trini's eh go keep ah tradition that involves they belly? Yuh is ah mad man or what? lol. We love it! But some ah them lil lazy so the fruits will go in the pot with the sherry brandy and "cook down", cool off and then mix in the cake....all this taking place Christmas Eve night eh, mind you. I like to soak the thing from at least September man but with work and ting maybe they don't have the time otherwise. The only ting l phase out is chow-chow.
