Trip from Frankfurt to Bilbao?

Hey there,

I need to go from Frankfurt, Germany to Bilbao, Spain and want to use train. Do you have any suggestions how I may do it?

A great site to look up schedules for all trains in Europe is

There were a number of options from Frankfurt to Bilbao, all going through Paris, and some schedules have big waits between trains.  You could probably fly cheaper on ryanair from Frankfurt Hahn airport to Santander (about 50 euros).

As for trains, When you type in Frankfurt,

"Frankfurt (M) hbf" is the station to pick.
