  1. I definitely wouldn't advise pills!  I've found that exercise early in the day helps me.  And also getting rid of stress and worries that may creep up on me at night.  Also you should do a regular bedtime routine that signals your body it's time to slow down and sleep.  Have you ever tried aromatherapy?  I just wrote a blog on ways to relax that includes tips on that might help you too.  If you're interested go to: http://buzz.prevention.com/community/bcr...  Also I drink an organic herbal tea, Goodnight Tea.  After just a few sips I'm nice and sleepy, try it out.

  2. Try changing your routine:

    1. Eat a cracker and a slice of turkey 1 hour before bed time

    2. Turn off all electronics (TV, computers, radio) 1 hour before

    3. Drink herbal tea, especially chamomile

    4. Prevent snoring as much as possible. This is a common cause of poor quality sleep.
