Trouble with guys.....?

She is 16 like myself and has never had a boyfriend let alone been kissed (she's almost 17). It really gets her down in the dumps. We were talking yesterday and she said it's because of the way she looks (she is a really sweet girl and funny, too) but she said why change her looks just to get a boyfriend? - she is over weight and has some abnormalities with her body underneath ehr clothes but she isn't ugly per sae. Oh and you she has the most piercing and stunning eyes ever!!! We girls at school envy her for her eyes....seriously gorgeous. What should I tell her? As her best friend she's come to me but I have little experience myself. HELP?!?!

Your still so young, so many school relationships people look back on and go - why did I do that?   Anyway, I think it is way too young to be feeling like you have never have been kissed.  Come back at 30 and i'll offer some suggestions then perhaps - because otherwise - it is perfectly normal.  And when it happens it happens and there is no pushing these things.

so the problem is that she has low self esteem. well tell her that if she was to look for a guy in relationships after she changed her appearance, then guys would only go for looks then..

There are guys out there who dig for girls with great personality over looks. Tell her this, tell her how charming eyes she has and how all the other girls envy her for that. Tell her it might just not be the looks, it might also be that she's really shy around guys?
