Truck pullin question?

I bought a 1978 ford stepside shortbed to truck pull with and I replaced the clutch in it and it wasnt easy if i go ahead and build this truck to truck pull will everything break im 16 and dont have time to be replacein everything

Yes.  If you pull with the truck you will break things.  That's the nature of the sport.  Now, it may take a while - but something WILL break.
