False. Far more people cheer on the cubs as the "lovable" underdog, I've seen too much hate of the Leafs on here.

Second is that the Cubs have gone 100 years without a title, and made up a curse, that hardly anyone knows of, starting 50 years ago. The Leafs haven't gone 100 years and haven't made up a stupid curse yet.

I'd say false... the Leafs are the most popular team in the NHL and I would not say the same about the cubs.

Ignoring the last few years, I'd say the BoSox are a better comparison... much larger fan base, make futility an art form.
